FTOB: Slovakia

In January of 2009 I traveled to Slovakia with some students of the Fontys Geography Teachers Acadamy for an European project called Atlas of European Values. Ouer goal was to share some of ouer knowledge about teatching, society and geography with students of the University of Banská Bystrica. We took an eight day trip, including two days of traveling by bus, train and plain, and had a lot of fun over there. Besides the teaching at a local high school, working with Slovakian students and developing new study materials we visited multiple country sites, cities and a ski piste. Even now, almost a year after am looking back with a feeling of happiness and gratefulness.

In the past few years I shot a lot of pictures. Mostly using my mobile Phone (being an iPhone 3G first, now iPhone 4), sometimes using my simply Sony Sybershot. Once in a while I would like to share some of those pictures with you, as part of what i’m calling the ‘From The Old Box’ picture series (FTOB).
