Toen ik dinsdagmorgen wakker werd lag er een mooie mailtje in mijn digitale postvak: de bestelling was verzonden. Toen ik ‘s middags vrolijk thuiskwam, in de veronderstelling dat het pakket inmiddels bij de buren zou liggen, viel ik van de ene verbazing in de andere. Er lag geen briefje in de brievenbus en er was geen pakketje bij de buren. Maar volgens TNT’s Track & Trace zou het pakket wel bezorgd zijn.
Dus ik aan de telefoon hangen met TNT. Voor 45 cent per minuut krijg je een vriendelijke dame aan de lijn. Die je vervolgens ruim vier minuten in de wacht zet. Ik ging nog uit van een ‘foutje, kan gebeuren’. De dame kon niets anders voor mij doen dan een klacht aanmaken. Ik moest het zelf maar uitzoeken met bol.com. Volgende keer toch maar TNT Twitter Webcare proberen. Ies tenminste graties.
Bij bol.com zijn ze de moeilijkste niet. Product gewoon opnieuw bestellen, als de vorige bestelling deze week niet meer bezorgd wordt crediteren zij het bedrag. Hulde.
5 Januari: poging 2
Ook deze bestelling is door bol.com netjes verzonden. Volgens de TNT Track&Trace was de bestelling onderweg. De hele dag thuis geweest/gebleven, meermaals de brievenbus gecheckt. Om twee uur toch maar eens Track&Trace opgezocht. En dat gaf tot mijn verbazing het volgende resultaat.
Hop, aan de telefoon met TNT. De dame die ik nu, na twee minuutjes wachten (daar kan je een biertje voor kopen) aan de lijn kreeg zag een stuk meer mogelijkheden. Of ik even wilde wachten. Natuurlijk joh. Twee minuten later was ze weer terug. Of ze mij terug mocht bellen. Maar natuurlijk, dat scheelt mij geld. Terwijl gister er helemaal niets anders mogelijk was dan een klacht aanmaken, ging zij nu het distributiecentrum bellen.
Een kleine vijf minuten later hing de mevrouw weer aan de lijn. In de duidelijke, zakelijke en stuk minder langdradige toon dan haar voorgangster vertelde ze mij dat er iets inderdaad fout ging. Goh. What a surprise! Daar was ik nog niet achter. Maar, en nu komt ie, de chauffeur (v) komt zo LANGS! Het pakketje zou nog in haar busje liggen.
Oftewel: als iets twee keer achter elkaar fout gaat en toeval duidelijk niet meer bestaat, krijg je plots de (hopelijk) verantwoordelijke aan je voordeur, wat opzich natuurlijk perfect is. Zo hoort het. Maar als je de eerste keer heel lief belt dan krijg je tot tien keer toe te horen dat ‘zij er ook niets aan kan doen’ en kun je niets anders dan een potje balen.
Update: En daar was de postbode. Die ingehuurd is door TNT. Die blijkbaar van niets weet. “Ja wij krijgen ze vanmorgen van TNT. ” Op mijn vraag hoe het kan dat ze volgens Track&Trace bezorgd zijn was de enige reactie: “Ja dat weet ik ook niet, zal wel bij hun fout zijn. Maar nu heb ie ze toch?”.
Goed, dat is einde discussie, lijkt me zo. Ik noem dat een officiële #fail.
